Conditions of Marriage
You must be 21 years of age to marry in Fiji, and you must be in Fiji three working days prior to your intended wedding date. Ceremonies are not performed on Sundays or public holidays. All couples need to lodge their intent to marry in Nadi (transfers can be arranged to do this). Also, couples will need to take their original or certified birth certificates, passports and, if previously married, a copy of the divorce decree. Your marriage will then be internationally recognised, and most of all, legally binding.
